We spent Thanksgiving in Southern California! This year we traded the snow for a Thanksgiving cookout at the beach. The reason for our trip was my sister, Jill, got married on the Friday after Thanksgiving. The wedding was beautiful and we had a great time. Malachi was the ring bearer, but he slept through his job. He did look very handsome in his tuxedo though!

This weekend, Malachi and I traveled to Ohio to host my sister, Jill’s, wedding shower. It was a very busy weekend, but went very well. It was also great to see lots of family!
Trip to D.C. September 23, 2008
At the end of September, we traveled to D.C. because Chris was attending a conference at Capital Hill Baptist Church. Malachi and I visited old friends. We all had a great time!

Malachi’s 1st Trip Out of State July 11, 2008
We drove to my parents’ house in Ohio for the weekend to meet up with my college freind, Ellen Swenson’s family. It was great to see them again! This was also Malachi’s first time meeting Uncle Jordan and Uncle Jared.

We had a cook-out at our house with many of our friends. In the evening, we went to Grandpa & Grandma Blackstone’s house to make smores.
Aunt Jill Comes to Visit June 15, 2008
Aunt Jill met Malachi for the first time! She came to visit from California for a few days. It was great to have her help and company! Aunt Jill had the magic touch for putting Malachi to sleep! She figured out his favorite position which is in the first picture. Good Job:)

Today is Memorial Day! Malachi’s first holiday. My parents and Jubilee are coming to visit! Malachi will meet Pops for the first time.
